I built nearly 50 collaged illustrations for this 168-page cookbook, which celebrates fried dough recipes from around the globe. The motif for World of Doughnuts relies on a love of travel and savoring the unique temptations of any environment; compositional references to postcards, maps, and travel journals, illustrations comprised of stamps, souvenirs, snapshots, and other vacation memorabilia, and eclectic styling in the sumptuous photography by Jen Altman all work in concert to showcase each doughnut as a one-of-a-kind regional experience.
